Ika has the charm of an old fishing village. It is situated on the slopes of U?ka. The Lungomare promenade, which also passes through Ika, stretches from Opatija to Lovran. A special attraction of the place is a fishing evening, where you can feel the way of life of a typical coastal village, help fishermen knit a net and taste the fresh catch prepared by local chefs. Today, Ika is also the academic center of the entire Riviera, as it hosts the internationally recognized Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, where hundreds of students from all parts of Croatia and abroad are trained.
