Situated between 7 hills on the Welsh/English border, Abergavenny is often referred to as the ‘Gateway to Wales’. The Angel is only a 2 minute walk from Abergavenny Castle or 5 minute walk from Linda Vista Gardens. Providing a warm, friendly environment in a truly residential setting. The Angel Hotel is within easy access to Abergavenny Train Station.
The Angel consists of 31 guest rooms in the heart of the historic market town of Abergavenny. There are three categories of guestrooms within the hotel, executive (our smallest rooms), superior (middle size rooms), and deluxe (our largest rooms). The majority of rooms are within the hotel however The Mews , a former stables, is adjacent to the hotel.
The hotel features a dining room, The Oak Room and a stylish bar, The Foxhunter. The award winning afternoon tea is served in the Wedgewood room.
