Tisvildeleje is a lovely little town with artisans, cafés and galleries. The town is very lively in summer, as the beautiful sandy beach is a popular destination for the local population. The surrounding area is home to interesting museums, a golf course and the opportunity to take a trip on the museum railway. The region is ideal for long walks, especially through the forest by the beach. This is known as the Troll Forest because of the strange, mystical-looking trees that grow in it.
